It’s not too hard to find a good reason to visit Florida. The state has plenty to offer, including world-class beaches, major attractions, historic venues and plenty of green space. But currentresults.com just gave us three great reasons to visit Florida in February and they all have to do with keeping warm.

According to the site, during the month of February, from a temperature standpoint for the continental US, Florida has the warmest Atlantic Ocean temperature, the warmest city, and the warmest park.

The warmest city in February is Miami with average daily highs of 78 degrees. If this appeals to you, consider visiting Miami in February and check out the following:

  • The Coconut Grove Art Festival, scheduled for February 15-17, stretches for one mile along Biscayne Bay’s waterfront streets and hosts juried artists displaying art in 15 different categories. There is also live music, a Family Zone, and culinary demonstrations.
  • Foodies and foodie-show addicts will love the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine and Food Festival, set for February 19-23. The event is a perfect mix of celebrity chefs, parties and receptions, and plenty of culinary delights.
