Move over traditional nachos; dessert is taking over the campfire!
Ingredients
Plain Tortilla chips
liced apples (4-5)
Brown Sugar (¼ cup)
Cinnamon (to sprinkle – about 2 tablespoons)
Butter (about 4 tablespoons)
Optional Toppings can include whipped cream, caramel sauce or chopped nuts
Instructions
Slice the apples and mix with brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Layer the nachos on a large piece of aluminum foil and top with the apple cinnamon mixture. Dot mix with small pieces of butter. Wrap tightly and place the foil over the campfire or on a camp grill for about 10-15 minutes until the apples are tender. Carefully open foil and top with your desired toppings.
