Must-Visit Fall Events and Camping Getaways

Adirondack Balloon Festival

While everybody loves a summer camping trip, who can argue that a camping trip in autumn is just a little extra special? The crisp air, the fall colors, and the fact that every outdoor activity does not feel like your body’s about to combust from the heat. Fall is around the corner so plan some great camping trips to enjoy these fall-themed events:

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando (FL): At least 10 haunted houses await you, if you dare. Based on some of the scariest movies you can think of (like The Exorcist and Chucky), these houses will bring out the scaries for sure. There are also five “scare zones”, themed food and drink, and live entertainment. Book a stay at Thousand Trails Orlando and get ready to scream! Event runs on select nights from September 1 through November 4. Details can be found at universalorlando.com.
