In order to determine if your vehicle is secure at the campground, RV expert Dave Solberg, demonstrates helpful tips on how to properly extend and retract stabilizing RV jacks to ensure they remain in good condition.  
First, Dave highly recommends using an electric driver compared to the classic crank-style jack to save time and avoid bending the jack due to excessive torque. Additional benefits using an electric driver over a classic crank-style jack is that it will do the job in a few seconds and at a variable speed.
