Ingredients
- 1 lb. bag of organic baby carrots
- 1 head of cabbage
- 6-8 organic russet potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
- 2 Tbsp butter, divided
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 2 tsp thyme
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Cut the bottom of the head of cabbage and then divide into smaller quarters place in large pot
- Add the carrots and potatoes and cover with water and bring to a boil
- While the vegetables boil mix the spices and pork together in a bowl then form into small patties (makes about 9-10)
- In a medium saucepan melt one tablespoon of butter, add the pork patties and cook until browned on each side
- Strain the veggies and place on a plate, mash gently with a fork and top with remaining butter, salt, pepper or vinegar to taste. Top with sausage patties and serve!
