Cast Iron Skillet Pizza You Can Make Anywhere

Who doesn’t love a good pizza made from scratch?

Pizza is a dish most everyone agrees is delicious. And if there is a dispute about toppings, everyone picks a side…or better yet, make two! This simple campside recipe is sure to please everyone and is oh so easy to make.

Basic Pizza Recipe

Ingredients

1 tube of refrigerated pizza dough

1 jar of pizza sauce

2 cups mozzarella cheese

Choice of toppings – veggies, mushrooms, pepperoni, etc.

Instructions

Oil a cast iron pan with sides. Spread the refrigerated dough in the bottom of the pan. Place the pan on the fire, barbeque or cooking stove and cook until the bottom of the dough has browned. Remove the pan from the heat source and flip the crust, returning it to the pan. Brush the crush with the pizza sauce and place your topping. Cover with cheese. Return to the heat source and cook until the crust is cooked through to your liking, the toppings are warmed and the cheese is melted. Remove from heat and enjoy!
