Make This Summer the Best Summer Ever

With a little planning, you can have the best summer ever combining great camping with some iconic summer events set for Summer 2025! Here are a few to consider:

Alien lovers will want to note that the hugely popular McMenamins UFO Festival, in McMinnville, Oregon is scheduled for May 16-17 and promises out of the world fun with events like live music, a parade, and several expert speakers set to discuss aliens among us! The California State Fair is set for July 11-27 in Sacramento. Thrill riders and theme park lovers will want to take note and check out some of the new attractions opening at some of America’s favorite theme parks this summer. California’s Disneyland is set to open the Avengers Campus and the Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run attractions while Walt Disney World will unveil a new Indiana Jones attraction and a new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight. Campgrounds to make your home base include Thousand Trails Wilderness Lakes for Disneyland and Thousand Trails Orlando or Encore Tropical Palms for Florida theme parks. Six Flags Over Texas will open their new water park, Splash Island, as part of their Hurricane Harbor attraction. Book a stay at Thousand Trails Lake Whitney, which is about an hour’s drive away.
