5 Urban Sites to Enjoy on National Walk in the Park Day

March 30th has been set aside as National Take A Walk in the Park Day to encourage people to get active in nature by taking a walk in a nearby park. If you’re camping, check out some of these parks nearby to our campgrounds and stretch your legs while taking in the beauty of the great outdoors.

Boston:

The Boston Public Garden in spring offers tulip blooms, cherry blossoms and blooming magnolia trees. Established in 1837, it is considered America’s first public botanic garden. Other than the beautiful blooms, don’t miss the Swan Boats on the water and the too-cute sculpture, “Make Way For Ducklings” based on Robert McCloskey’s classic children’s book of the same name.
