Which way to MY beach, you ask? If you’re looking for a beach that suits your style, we’ve got some inside info for you, thanks to thediscoverer.com’s recent blog that identified the best beaches in Florida for every type of traveler. Similar lists have rounded out the idea that there are beaches in Florida specific to every personality, so we’ve found some great beaches to hit when you’re camping with us in Florida.

For the Fun Times: Daytona Beach makes the list noting the Spring Break vibe and the abundance of nightlife here. And honestly, partying can include all the fun found along the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier. Encore Sunshine Holiday is a great camping spot if you want to enjoy the fun of Daytona Beach. The “fun” originated back in the early 1900s when the wide, flat beach with its hard packed sand was ideal for testing out “high-speed” automobiles. The racing gave way to the concept for the Daytona International Speedway which has hosted the Daytona 500 since 1959. While in the area, check out Caribbean Jack’s for happy hour and dinner. With live bands every day and delicious food, it may end up being your favorite restaurant.

For Family Fun: Any of the Tampa area camping locations will put you in target of the family-friendly beach known as Clearwater Beach. It is great for activities including stand-up paddle boarding and jet skiing. And the fine, sugar sand is great for relaxing while the kids frolic around you. The beach’s Pier 60 is great for fishing, souvenir shopping, and snacking! In the Florida Keys, John Pennekamp State Park is great for family beach time. There are two beaches here; Cannon Beach and Far Beach. Book a stay at either Sunshine Key or Fiesta Key and head over for a day of family fun with opportunities for kayaking and snorkeling.

For Doggies: If camping with your furry friend is a must, then good to know there are several dog-friendly beaches in the Sunshine State. If you’re camping at Encore Miami Everglades, the aptly named Bark Beach can be found in the City of Miami Beach. Located next to a park that is also dog-friendly, leashed pups are welcome (proof of vaccination and a fee required) and there are several dog-friendly eateries nearby. Flagler Beach is also pet-friendly and was named by USA Today as one of the best beaches to vacation when bringing your pets. To find the perfect spot, check out visitflagler.com/beaches/pet-friendly-zones. Book a camping stay at Encore Bulow to be near these pup-friendly spots.

For Peace and Quiet: Book a stay at Encore Space Coast and enjoy the sandy solitude of Cape Canaveral National Seashore. Located on a 58-acre barrier island in the Atlantic, there are 25 miles of beachfront for walking plus several hiking trails consisting of short loops. On the Gulf side, Barefoot Beach is not too crowded and is great for walking and shelling. If you’re staying at Encore Fort Myers, you’re about 30 miles from Barefoot Beach. And, although the beach has been consistently named to the Dr. Beach list of best beaches, Barefoot Beach maintains its quiet, unspoiled vibe.

For Shelling: Sanibel and Captiva Islands are known for their shelling, quaint inns, and gorgeous beaches. Add more to your collection with a day trip here from Encore Tranquility Lakes, just a little over an hour away. After shelling the morning away, visitors can consider exploring some shell shops, local eateries, or even while away the afternoon on one of the many beaches here. For those looking to be active before relaxing on the beach, paddleboarding is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the beaches from the water.
