Hampton Beach & Salisbury Beach
Enjoy year-round beach fun at Hampton Beach. This sandy beach along the Atlantic has room for anyone who wants to swim, fish, and picnic. Hampton Beach is located just a short 30 minute drive east from the Tuxbury Pond RV Resort. Located just across the border in Massachusetts, Salisbury Beach offers a variety of amusements rides, games, food stands, shops, sailing, boating and fishing, go carts, activities, and accommodations. It’s about 25 minutes southeast from Tuxbury Pond RV Resort in Salisbury, MA.
Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk
Just 20 minutes from Tuxbury Pond RV Resort is the Pettengill Farm where in May, there will be the Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk, a whimsical, fairytale world come-to-life. This third-annual event features over 150 fairy & gnome homes along a 1-mile wooded path. Author and illustrator, Tracy Kane, will have a book signing and read from her Fairy House series, plus there’ll be live music, crafting, food, and unique vendors to peruse. Check out the Discovery Walk on May 6th & 7th from 10-3pm rain or shine. Tickets are just $5 per individual and free for those who make and submit gnome homes!
Jewell Towne Vineyards
Any time of the year, be sure to take a visit to Jewell Towne Vineyards, the oldest winery in New Hampshire. This family owned vineyard has events like wine and chocolate tastings, tours, private events, and much more. Last year, Jewell Towne label, Marechal Foch 2015 won “Best Grown NH Wine” at the 2016 Northeast Gold Medal Competiton.
Toast to the Coast
On the evening of Thursday, May 11, celebrate the flavors of the seacoast at the annual Toast to the Coast at the Ashworth by the Sea in Hampton, NH. Guests can sample a wide selection of wines, craft beer, specialty cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres from the Seacoast’s finest restaurants, caterers, and specialty shops.
